Laus Deo Semper www.CobusPotgieter.com http "Less is more" cerainly doesn't apply here, haha, definitely one of my most overplayed covers; starting with the song's drumming already being quite busy. LOVED it, though. Zac has a style that I love listening to and it's so much fun jamming along to this song. A technique that I stumbled accross while jamming a week or so before recording these covers, is hitting the cymbals from underneath; and although this looks kind of cool, the main reason is fluidity. I find the action to be much more natural when the stroke comes from exactly where it is; ie I had just finished hitting the floor tom, my hand is already underneath the cymbal, so it makes more sense to just hit it from there, as opposed to lifting it up and THEN hitting it; which equates to double the distance. Those kind of strokes feature quite regularly in the bridge of the song, I love using it. Just as a sidenote (for the audio engineers and mixer who might be wondering) NO replacement or triggering was done in this mix. During the Nor'Easter Snow Storm Yesterday I made Homemade Turkey Meatballs and Sauce: Recipe: Turkey Meatballs and Sauce: 1# 93% Fat Free Ground Turkey 1 Tbl. Extra Virgin Olive Oil Breadcrumbs ¼ Cup Parmesan Cheese ½ Cup Finally Chopped/Minced Onion ½ Cup Finally Grated Carrot 2 Tbl Parsley To taste: Chopped Garlic Thyme Salt and Pepper 1 Egg Mix all the above either in a Kitchen Aid mixer or by hand. I do not measure the bread crumbs,, after it has been mixed check to see if you need more breadcrumbs. I use the Pampered Chef cookie scoop to make small meatballs or make any size you wish. Spray a 9X13 pan with cooking Spray. Bake in a 375* 20-25 Minutes Meanwhile as the Meatballs are cooking: Make the Sauce: In a large pan: Heat 1 Tbl. Extra Virgin Olive Oil Add 1 small chopped Onion Slightly brown Add Garlic to taste,,, cook 1-2 minutes Add: ½ cup Red Wine (Optional but adds such a nice flavor) Cook off the Wine Add 3 Tbl. Tomatoe Paste mix in Cook for 1 minute Add: 1 - 28 oz Can of Crushed Tomatoes Add to taste: Oregano Italian Seasoning Basil Parsley Salt and Pepper Simmer on low for 30 minutes If the sauce is to thick add some Water. If you'd like add some chopped Tomatoes. Check the seasonings after 30 minutes and re-adjust to your taste. Simmer for 15 more minutes Add the Meatballs Simmer on low..covered for 1 hour Check the Meatballs after an hour,.. do not over cook them because they can dry out. This is a cake I made for our family on christmas. This is my first cake and I'm very proud of it, so please if you dont have anything nice to say then dont say anything. FONDANT RECIPE: (Taken from Cakecentral.com) Ingredients ¼ Cup Crisco, used for kneading the dough 2 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter, used to grease the bowl for melted marshmallows 8 Cups Mini Marshmallows, very loosely packed 2½ Tsp Clear Vanilla Extract 2½ Tsp Clear Butter Flavored Extract ½ Tsp Salt 3 Tbsp Water 1 Tbsp. Corn Syrup, helps with pliability 2 Lbs Powdered Sugar 2 Tbsp. Dream Whip Instructions Grease the inside of a large microwavable bowl with butter. Put marshmallows, vanilla, butter flavor and water in bowl. Microwave on high for 60 seconds. If marshmallows are completely melted your ready, if not stir and return to microwave in 30 second intervals until completely melted. Add in corn syrup. Fit mixer with the dough hook and pour in powdered sugar, dream whip and salt, mix well. Carefully add in the liquefied marshmallow mixture to powdered sugar mixture. Mix at low speed until incorporated. Turn mixer up to low/medium speed to knead until majority of sugar is blended in. **There may be a little that will not mix in-that's ok. You can hand knead that in, if the dough is to soft.** Turn fondant onto a flat surface that has been lightly dusted with powdered sugar. Knead fondant until smooth and pliable. Daylight And Slower Reshoot Of My Bathroom

After discovering more imprints in the cistern, I decided to show you my bathroom in more detail, slower and clearer, and replace the previous out of date full shot. This whole suite is the same, possibly made by Focus DIY. First off we have my toilet as you've seen before, with a Bakasan lidless seat, Armitage Shanks handle and Opella Flapper valve and Torbeck refill valve. This used to be an orange toilet. Next is the shower cubicle, the shower unit and set has been replaced, it used to be a white plastic pressure booster thing, I think it was by Aquajet. The current is as you can see, a bar mixer valve and rain shower set with seperate hand shower. This used to be an orange shower tray and fully frosted over screen. Next the sink, not much to say, taps need changing to chrome, along with a few other fittings in the bathroom. Bath again is all original with the suite, the chain to the plug snapped off. I do believe that mirror was in the downstairs loo once, but is now used in there. Below the mirror (Not shown) is a soap dispenser. And the usual flush from my toilet, powerful, noisy and long, all modified. The cistern view, note the copper pipe attached to the refill valve - the old plastic downpipe silencer split. The marking on the bottom of the cistern reads "AT3" markings on the back are "VA ------------" "SY-----------" (Waterlines, for valve and syphon, but as you can see I ignore it and max out the water) The date, "British Made" and two 7's.
